YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS !!!
NEW VIDEO !
Play makers know how to get vertical at a moments notice when the game calls for it. We've
seen Linebackers, running backs, receivers and even linemen ( on both sides of the ball)
take to the air when thats what's needed to get the job done. Since doing so defies some of
the basics of the game going airborne is not for the faint of heart.

And because so many athletes on all levels are performing breath taking feats we've got to
pay homage to What we call the "Airborne Squad."

For some players it's about getting the job done, period. They're gonna do what it
takes to claw for that extra yard. ...and so just when a defender thinks he's captured his
prey these head upwards and what results is some spectacular play making.

Our honorable mention shots include players from Rutherford New Jersey, Verona New
Jersey and Teaneck New Jersey. Two of these athletes have gone on to college and
the third will be playing varsity next year. No doubt they'll all continue to be the great
play makers seen here in the photos below.
2009 BEST AIR SHOT
Sorry folks but after a good bit of
struggle this nomination for Port
Richmond's Zamel Johnson won
out.

We don't know if it's the red
uniform but most folks see Zamel
hurdling over the defenders and
think, " Superman. " All that he
seems to be missing are an "S"
and a cape.

This shot won out because Zamel
didn't just go vertical, he went
horizontal right smack in the
middle of it, yes and all in a single
bound.

The thing which put the
nomination over the top is that
after coming down on the other
side of this leap Zamel  stayed on
his feet and ran the ball into the
end zone!
